Building a Healthier community!
Our health statistics continue to get worse! Obesity rates continue to increase along with chronic diseases. It’s time for us to take back the health of our communities.
Join the First Bakersfield Masters Pickleball Tournament!
Gear up for an exhilarating day of competition, camaraderie, and charity at the inaugural Bakersfield Masters Pickleball Tournament! Hosted by the esteemed Bakersfield Racquet Club on April 20, 2024, this event promises to set the courts ablaze with spirited rounds of pickleball. Perfect for enthusiasts and pros alike, with divisions ranging from skill levels 2.5 to 5.0, the tournament introduces a unique 3-player team format to the game. Not only will there be cash prizes for the top tiers, but participants also have the chance to win medals in all categories. Beyond the game, it’s an opportunity to support ‘Health through Wholeness and Strength n’ Abilities’, a commendable non-profit dedicated to empowering veterans and adults with disabilities. So don your whites (optional but encouraged) and join us for a sunrise warm-up followed by a day filled with exciting matchups and community spirit!
